SOS Children's Villages is a non-governmental, non-profit social organization founded in Austria in 1949 and operating in Indonesia since 1972, with a mission to ensure that children who have lost parental care receive a loving family and home. The organization has eight villages in various cities across Indonesia and runs two main programmes: Village (childcare in foster families with SOS mothers) and Family Strengthening for vulnerable families.

Key Performance Areas :

  • Conducts regular S4D (Sport for Development) training for participants to develop individuals holistically.

  • Supports the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the S4D (sport for development) program and project Strategic Plan.

  • Guide other sectors in the formulation and implementation of S4D projects.

  • Collaborate with other sectors to integrate S4D initiatives into child and youth development programmes.

  • Ensure the protection of children, adolescents, adults, and organizational assets in accordance with safeguarding policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in either Sports Science/Sports Coaching, or any other relevant education.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Program Officer in community development programmes.

  • Basic pedagogical skills.

  • Experience working with young people and children.

  • Able to design, develop, and deliver training programmes.

  • Able to provide and share knowledge based on valid and accurate scientific evidence.

  • Able to work in groups.

  • Must be confident, responsible and reliable.

  • Exceptional oral and written presentation skills in both Indonesian and English.

  • Willing and able to travel as and when required.
