Mission of the position:

Pursues opportunities for the country to internally and externally promote the Member Associations’ activities in order to increase the public recognition and foster a positive image with the overall goal to support fundraising activities, sets up the External Communications concept and the External Communications plan reflecting the strategy and the development of External Communication in the country, is responsible for fulfilling the External Communications plan of the Member Association. Aims to strengthen brand awareness, credibility and acceptance with the overall goal to support fundraising activities.

 

Key performance indicators:

  • Oversee proactive communication program.
  • Represent organization in external and internal events.
  • Develop and implement internal engagement program.
  • Manage performance and development of sub-ordinate, through regular feedback, supervision, supporting learning and the Performance development review process.
  • Increase the public recognition and foster a positive image with the overall goal to support fundraising activities.
  • Sets up the External Communications concept and plan reflecting the strategy and the development in the country.
  • Together with the FDC Dir develop External Communications plan of the Member Association.
  • Strengthen brand awareness, credibility and acceptance with the overall goal to support fundraising activities.
  • Strengthen external and internal engagement concept.
  • Manage external and internal communication program.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in public relation or communications.
  • A minimum of 5-year experience in public relation.
  • Minimum 3 –year experience in managerial role.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in handling BTL, ATL and TTL.
  • Experience managing internal communications in geographically dispersed organization.
  • Fluent in English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of developments in social media and using social media channels to engage range of audiences.
  • Mobilize people to communicate organization’s message.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection bit.ly/CodeofConduct2023
  • Willing to travel as and when required.
