SOS Children's Villages Indonesia is a non-governmental, non-profit social organization founded in Austria in 1949 and operating in Indonesia since 1972, with a mission to ensure that children who have lost parental care receive a loving family and home. The organization has eight villages in various cities across Indonesia and runs two main programmes: Village (childcare in foster families with foster mothers) and family strengthening for vulnerable families.

Mission of the position:
The Partnership Event Specialist supports the Fund Development & Communications (FDC) Director:

Protect children, youth and adults from all forms of mistreatment based on the best interests of the child, in accordance with duties and responsibilities.

The Partnership Event Specialist plays a key role in planning, implementing and managing large-scale public fundraising activities (such as RunToCare), with the aim of enhancing the organisation's brand and raising awareness of its mission. The role focuses on generating net income through corporate partnership acquisition (sponsorship) and ticket sales/participant registration.
Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or a Related Field.

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Partnership/Sponsorship Acquisition and Event Management, preferably from the Event Organizer (EO), Sports Marketing Agency, or Nonprofit Fundraising industries.

Portfolio: Possess a proven portfolio of successfully closing significant corporate sponsorship deals (valued above hundreds of millions of Rupiah). This is an added value.

Technical competencies (hard skills): sponsorship sales, budget management, negotiation, event management, legal & contracts).

Personal Competencies (Soft Skills): initiative and drive, interpersonal skills, stress resilience, communication.

Exceptional oral and written presentation skills, in both Indonesian and English, proficiency in computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
