SOS Children's Villages is a non-governmental, non-profit social organization founded in Austria in 1949 and operating in Indonesia since 1972, with a mission to ensure that children who have lost parental care receive a loving family and home. The organization has eight villages in various cities across Indonesia and runs two main programmes: Village (childcare in foster families with SOS mothers) and Family Strengthening for vulnerable families.

Mission of the Position:

  • Responsible to design, implement, and manage the organization’s M&E systems. The officer ensures that all programmes are results-oriented, data-driven, and accountable to donors, stakeholders, and beneficiaries/participants by tracking project progress, measuring impact, and recommending evidence-based improvements.

  • Responsible to protect children, adolescents, adults, and assets in accordance with safeguarding policies and assigned responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in M&E for NGOs, international development, or humanitarian projects.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis software and experience with digital data collection. Maintain a strong knowledge of logical frameworks and results-based management (RBM). 

  • Exceptional oral and written presentation skills in both Indonesian and English.
